Senior IT Support Technician

Reports to: Head of IT
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 DOE
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Location: Bournemouth

As a member of the Technology squad you will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions that advance businesses and careers. You’ll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists dedicated to improving the design, analytics, development, coding, testing and application programming that goes into creating high quality software and new products.

Reporting to our Head of IT - we are looking to appoint an experienced IT Support Technician who has a broad skill set and an awesome attitude.  Your quick thinking, innovative and proactive approach will ensure that issues are resolved seamlessly.

You will share responsibilities of administering different systems and technologies including but not limited to Active Directory, Office 365, our CRM and phone systems – so you need to be familiar with these already. The BAU will be to Administer and provision users, maintain high standards and SLAs throughout all responsibilities and log all incidents that our raised via the help desk.

You will be unafraid and curious enough to handle undertaking a variety of IT Projects, whilst also being given the autonomy to challenge the status quo. If you have an idea that you think will create a difference, you will have the forum to share it.

What do we need from you?

  • Strong experience working within an IT function
  • Have an exceptional understanding of Microsoft Windows 10 and Active Directory
  • Comfortable working with Linux based systems
  • Experience offering 2nd and/or 3rd line support
  • Strong communication with the ability to articulate IT subjects to non-technical users in a clear relatable way
  • Knowledge of network and VoIP systems would be desirable
  • Have a strong appreciation for security, best practices and maintenance
  • A desire to constantly learn new systems and technology
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload and prioritise
